Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Gets Movie!

Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend is getting a movie adaptation! 1,600 happy fans welcomed the news at the Dec. 3 event “Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Fes ♭ ~glistening moment~” held at Toyosu PIT, Tokyo.

Based on the popular light novel series written by Maruto Fumiaki and illustrated by Misaki Kurehito, Saekano follows the doujin circle Blessing Software, led by Aki Tomoya, as they work on a visual novel where the main heroine is based on their classmate, Kato Megumi, a good-looking but super average girl.

The series also received an anime adaptation, the first season of which aired from January 2015, followed by a second in April 2017. The show is praised for its characters as well as depicting the hardships of being a creator.

There is another event to look forward to in 2018, as the “Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Misaki Kurehito Exhibition” will be visiting Taiwan, Tokyo, and Osaka! Details will be announced at a later date, so be sure to check back~
