The live action film adaptation of Sorachi Hideaki’s comedy manga Gintama is set to receive a sequel in summer 2018!
The big news was announced at a talk event held today, as well as on its official Twitter account.

Attended by prominent actor Oguri Shun (Gintoki) and director Fukuda Yuichi, the talk event commemorated the film's DVD and Blu-ray release, as well as this new step for the Yorozuya trio!
The live action Gintama film premiered in Japan on Jul. 14, 2017, gathering a total of 3.84 billion yen at the box office.
