The Dengeki entertainment brand is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year! One of the projects is the “Dengeki 25th Anniversary Special Figure Project”, which includes the “Love Live! Sunshine!! Birthday Figure Project” that started this August.
The first in the series is Kunikida Hanamaru, who went up for preorder on Aug. 5 on Dengeki’s official webshop Dengekiya. Watanabe You will be following her soon on Aug. 19.
This project aims to celebrate the birthdays of the Aqours members together, featuring them in their outfits from the song “Mirai Ticket" at 1/8 scale. Each figure will be delivered around the birthday of each member and will include a special clear file featuring the illustration the figure was based on as well as a message card as reservation bonus.
Love Live! is as popular as ever with Aqours currently on their second live tour, “Aqours 2nd Love Live! Happy Party Train Tour”, and the second season of the TV anime coming in October. The newest (September) issue of Dengeki G’s Magazine that came out on July 29 focuses on Love Live! Sunshine!! as well: The cover art, special feature, and the B2 poster are all Love Live! Sunshine!!, so don’t forget to pick it up if you’re an Aqours fan~
