Stage greetings at both Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro and Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku made for a spectacular opening to the July 15 premiere of No Game No Life: Zero!
Fans were treated to a lively discussion between director Ishizuka Atsuko and cast members Matsuoka Yoshitsugu (Riku), Hikasa Youko (Dora Corone), and Kayano Ai (Shuvi). There were also a lucky few who got to take home their own autographed poster!
The stage greetings were such a success that a few others are planned for the second week of showings. Starting July 23, staff and cast from the movie will visit Yokohama Burg 13, TOHO Cinemas Kawasaki, and Kawasaki Cinecitta for encore appearances. They’ll also be giving a thorough introduction to all the new characters slated to debut during the upcoming second season of No Game No Life.
Starting July 18, there will also be a campaign by JOYSOUND, where those who participate can score scripts of the film autographed by the cast members themselves! It lasts until Aug. 20, and involves singing karaoke versions of “THERE IS A REASON”, the theme song to No Game No Life: Zero!
Finally, Banpresto will be releasing a No Game No Life: Zero version of their popular “Ichiban Kuji” series! Orders opened on July 15 for 600 yen, which could turn out to be a poster or one of six keychains!
