Details about the anime adaptation of Saiyuki Reload Blast have been released including a new key visual, broadcasting information, character details, and even theme song information! There’s also a new PV and an upcoming event.
The manga is currently serialized in Comic ZERO-SUM, and and it follows Son Goku, Genjo Sanzo, Cho Hakkai, and Sha Gojyo in Shangri-la where humans and youkai coexist. Together they head westward as they try to prevent the demon Gyumaoh from being resurrected. Watch the new PV below!
The opening theme is called “move one! Ibara Michi” and is performed by GRANRODEO. Meanwhile, Luck Life has been chosen for the ending theme. The series will be broadcasted on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS11.
There will also be an early viewing event at Toho Cinemas Roppongi at 4:00 and 6:00 pm on June 17. Tickets will be on sale from May 19 until May 25 through e+, and there will be guest appearances by Seki Toshihiko, Hoshi Soichiro, Hirata Hiroaki, and Ishida Akira.
