Chronos Ruler Announces Summer Broadcast & Additional Cast

Jikan no Shihaisha ( Chronos Ruler ), a manga by Taiwanese artist Pon Jea, is getting an anime adaptation! The series is set to air in summer 2017.

In a world where the demons who devour time, referred to as the “kei”, are running rampant, it’s up to the “Chronos Rulers”, warriors with the ability to manipulate time, to get back the time they took away.

Featuring Kiri (Ishikawa Kaito), Blaze (Akabane Kenji), Vict (Fukuyama Jun), and Mina (Kugimiya Rie), the main visual is dark and mysterious, befitting the atmosphere of the series.

Additional cast members include Ito Shizuka and Sugita Tomokazu, who will be voicing Ice Raider and Snake, respectively.

Besides the PV, you can also find video comments from Fukuyama Jun, Ishikawa Kaito, Kugimiya Rie, and Akabane Kenji on the official site. These were originally shown at Good Smile Company’s booth at AnimeJapan 2017, so if you didn’t get to see it there now’s your chance to make up for it~

More members of the staff were revealed, as well: Yoshino Hiroyuki ( Macross F ), Yokote Michiko ( Shirobako ), and director Matsune Masato ( Chaos Dragon ) are all taking part in scriptwriting, Iijima Hiroya ( Afro Samurai ) is designing the characters, Takatsu Junpei ( Persona 3 ) joins as director of photography, and Project No. 9, the studio behind And You Thought There Is Never a Girl Online? and Girls Beyond the Wasteland, is responsible for producing animation.
