Toripota Ramen THANK is a great little ramen bar just a few minutes away from Daimon Station, using the Toei Oedo line. Lots of people stop by for some of Tokyo’s best ramen, but recently they’ve been pulling visitors in for another reason, too: Sota, a robot capable of remembering visitors using Microsoft Azure!

You register your name and a picture of yourself to Microsoft Azure which Sota then uses to recognize you, and it pairs that with a history of what you’ve ordered to recommend different ramen! That’s not all, though. Frequent visitors might even receive a special coupon for free ramen toppings from this special robot! See it in action below~
According to THANK’s owner, it also keeps track of age and gender which helps make specific recommendations, as well. Just imagine what tech will be like in ramen shops ten years from now!
