Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond

This is the 2nd season of Blood Blockade Battlefront, and it will be animated again by Bones. It’s set in Hellsalem’s Lot, formerly New York City, where a portal has opened up, forcing humans to coexist with various monsters. Libra, a group of people with incredible powers, attempts to maintain the delicate balance of this world.

Boku no Hero Academia

The classes and battles are going to be even tougher in season 2 of Boku no Hero Academia. This series focuses on a school full of people with “Quirks”, a type of superpower, where they learn to control them and become heroes.

Eromanga Sensei

Eromanga Sensei was first released as a light novel by Fushimi Tsukasa, perhaps best-known for his series Oreimo. Not unlike that series, this one features a cast of sweet, cute, and unique characters!

It’s centered around Izumi Masamune, a high school student and light novel writer. Izumi has the drawings for his novels illustrated by the mysterious Eromanga-sensei, but who is this character, really? Well, you’d better watch this one and find out!

Kenka Banchou Otome

Romantic comedies will be a little more brutal in Kenka Banchou Otome! This series of 10-minute episodes will follow Hinako, a girl raised as an orphan. One day Hinako runs into Hikaru, a boy claiming to be her twin brother, and he asks her to attend a school full of violent teenagers in his place!

The Royal Tutor

The Royal Tutor is an anime adaptation of the manga serialized in GFantasy following Heine, an incredible tutor hired to teach the 4 princes of the Grannzreich kingdom. All of the princes are reluctant to get along with him, but the anime is sure to be packed with heartwarming and hilarious scenes as they bond.

The Eccentric Family

The anime adaptation of the popular manga The Eccentric Family first aired back in 2013, and fans have been pumped since the sequel was first announced.

The new season is set to air on Apr. 9, and it will continue to follow the Shimogamo family of tanuki. Judging by the PV for season 2, it’ll be another great one with beautiful animation by P.A.Works!

Frame Arms Girl

The cute highschool girl Gennai Ao gets a mysterious package in the mail one day that includes a 15cm Frame Arms Girl named Gourai in the TV anime adaptation of Kotobukiya’s popular toy serious Frame Arms Girl! Unlike a normal Frame Arms Girl, Gourai is equipped with an AS (or Artificial Self), which makes her fully autonomous.

This series is sure to have both cute scenes and some great battles, and you can get a good idea of the visual style used to animate the models in the PV below.

Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Shou

Action, mystery, magic, and Zero being adorable - that’s basically what we want out of Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Shou, right? All of that is featured in the first PV for this anime coming out in April.

This series is based on the light novel by Kakeru Kobashiri, and it follows a half-man, half-beast mercenary trying to become a full human. He meets a witch named Zero who promises him that she’ll turn him into a human if he helps her find her “Book of Zero” that was stolen by bandits.

Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2

Last but not least is what might be one of the most highly-anticipated anime coming out - Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2! This follow-up will be airing on Apr. 1, and the visual promises some incredible action, despair, and terror.

Phew. We know, there’s a ton of great anime on their way! Are you as pumped for them as we are? There’s only a month to go before they start airing - which ones are you looking forward to the most?
