JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable - Chapter One will be opening around Japan on Aug. 4, and a new cast visual has been released featuring Iseya Yusuke as Kujo Jotaro.
Kujo Jotaro is a member of the Joestar family and the blood relative and nephew of protagonist Higashikata Josuke. Iseya Yusuke, a big fan of the original series, will be playing Jotaro, and he’s all dressed up in his cool white costume for the visual.
Iseya said about this role, “Jotaro and I have completely different personalities, so filling this role is a challenge.” He also said, “The photo is packed with director Miike Takashi’s ideas, and I hope you enjoy it.”
He also discussed shooting in Sitges, Spain, saying, “We were able to film somewhere that felt nothing like Japan. JoJo’s clothes are also familiar there so there was no feeling of uneasiness.”
This movie is the first live-action film adaptation of Araki Hirohiko’s manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Its wonderful cast includes Yamazaki Kento as protagonist Higashikata Josuke, Kamiki Ryunosuke as Josuke’s classmate Hirose Koichi, Komatsu Nana as his other classmate Yamagishi Yukako, Okada Masaki as antagonist Nijimura Keicho, and Mackenyu as Keicho’s younger brother Nijimura Okuyasu.
