From Dec. 16, Bandai’s Event & Location Development Department is bringing Daiba Assault, a Gundam-themed VR experience planned and produced by Bandai Namco Entertainment, to Gundam Square located in Suita, Osaka!

■ What Is Daiba Assault?
Daiba Assault is a Gundam VR experience that was first featured at VR Zone Project i Can in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, Odaiba, Tokyo from August to October 2016. The attraction features a new concept that combines VR technology with simulation, allowing for a full-body experience in the world of Mobile Suit Gundam. In this attraction, you are a helpless civilian and have to grab onto the life-sized hand of a Mobile Suit (originally installed at the Festival Square of DiverCity Tokyo) and not let go as the MS defends you during battle. You can feel shocks from collisions, the earth shaking beneath you, and steam gushing out while clinging for dear life. And now, Daiba Assault moves to Osaka!
