On the hunt for Christmas cakes? Anime Sugar, a confectionery specializing in anime-themed cakes, will be holding the AniSugar Christmas Festa 2016 on the fourth floor of Akihabara UDX on Dec. 24 and 25, which is definitely worth a shot if you happen to be in the area, but even if you aren’t, you can still feast your eyes on these gorgeous sweets!
Besides official anime character cakes, there will also be other limited edition items such as Christmas-themed dakimakura covers, chanmery (kids’ champagne), and snow globes, as well as an exhibition featuring art drawn specially for this event. In addition, various guests from the anime industry including critics, voice actors, and directors will be making appearances on the event stage for a merry otaku Christmas. The event is open for sightseeing without having to make a purchase.
