Third Round of Performers & Stage Content Announced for Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival 2016 in Tokyo!

The Moshi Moshi Nippon Project is dedicated to sharing Japanese pop culture with the world, and the Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival is a part of that. A total of 15,000 people came to the event in 2014, and 25,000 came in 2015. Now it’ll be going on a world tour to bring fashion, music, food, and anime to people all over, and it will be held for four days from Nov. 24-27 in the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. Nov. 26 and 27 will be packed with Japanese pop culture, bringing in a number of artists for live performances, as well as a fashion show by popular women’s magazines.

The third round of artists and additional booth and stage content for Nov. 26 and 27 have been announced.

● Moshi Moshi Nippon & Tokyo Starts!
Carried out by the city of Tokyo, the Tokyo Brand Advancement Project 1 was developed to create the “Tokyo brand” and establish the city as a getaway, and the Moshi Moshi Nippon Project was chosen for that. The Moshi Moshi Nippon Project serves as promotion for Tokyo Brand, sharing Japanese pop culture (fashion, music, food, anime, etc.) with the world.

● The Curtain Opens on the Festival’s Wonderful Opening Show!
A traditional Japanese dance using flowers, Japanese drums, and traditional musical instruments. The newly arranged version of the opening song will be even more intense than last year through intense drums and other instruments! Witness tradition and modern influence, and the moment of fusion of Japanese culture.

● Fashion Show and Talk Show by Aomoji-kei Fashion Magazine Zipper!
There will be a fashion show featuring the most fashionable models of Zipper, as well as a talk show with them!

● Play with Olive des Olive Fashion with Artificial Intelligence!
There will be an Olive des Olive x LINE@Account talk room in which you can get fashion styling advice from an AI. Experience a new, never-before-seen project that will begin at Moshi Moshi Nippon.

Mer Stage and Booth Making Appearances, Each Overflowing with Theme of “Japanese Culture Is Here!”
The stage was made with Mer models with must-have fashions! Take in a show that wouldn’t be possible without the cute girls of Mer from all over Japan. It’s sure to be a happy and exciting one!

Kera Shares Japanese Fashion Loved Worldwide Through Stage Show and Booth!
There will be a fashion show featuring lolita clothes and dansou fashion, as well as the announcements for the Lolita Award! Voice actors will also be appearing in a stage event for the Kera serialization Milpom.

● Experience Japanese Culture Booth Wabi-Sabi!
The Experience Japanese Culture Booth Wabi-Sabi will offer a workshop where you can experience the life of an oiran, as well as the Awa Odori Festival. There will also be lessons in calligraphy by calligrapher Miho, body art done by Kirie artist Miko, and a cutout art workshop by modern cutout artist Atsuomi, among other events. Enjoy the flavor of traditional Japanese culture at Wabi-Sabi.

● Domobics by Tokyo Performance Domo Making an Appearance!
Tokyo Performance Doll and NHK’s character Domo-kun came together for the collaborative unit Tokyo Performance Domo, and will be performing their original exercise “Domobics” with everyone.

● Experience Drones at Drone Vision Booth Produced by Fuji TV!
Drone Vision is a booth produced by Fuji TV where you can experience drones. While there’s the obvious fun of flying drones, you will also get to enjoy the unusual places that can be photographed by drones, as well as strange scenes of drones flying.

● Booth Appearing for Hit Game Resident Evil 7: Biohazard!
*Resident Evil 7* is the newest game from Capcom that’s shocking game shows around the world, and you can play the demo Lantern using the PlayStation® VR. Experience an entirely new kind of fear and immersion.

● “Nippon Umai Yokochou” Exhibit Planned!
“Nippon Umai Yokochou” (Japan’s Tasty Street) will bring unbelievable gourmet food from all around Japan to the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium! Items will include Niku Maki Dango from a famous (but undisclosed) shop in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Utsunomiya’s famous Kenta Gyoza, the Sakaiminato Fisherman-style Crab Soup from Sakai, Tottori, a city known for its massive quantity of snow crabs, the Miyako Kujo Leek Beef Sirloin Cutlet (a favorite among women!), and other favorites.

There will also be a number of other booths and content.

The Moshi Moshi Nippon Project continues to share Japan’s new appeal overseas by offering a variety of content, allowing visitors to see Japan from different angles, as well as the B2B Symposium where they can think about inbound and outbound. This was set up with the aim of offering organizations, individuals, and startups hoping to go overseas a place for support, cooperation, and exchange.

The Moshi Moshi Nippon Symposium is planning to open the second Moshi Moshi Gallery (Moshi Moshi Box 2F / Harajuku) mid-December. Details will be given to visitors on Nov. 24 and 25.

**This content festival will feature all sorts of Japanese culture with the world from traditional performances to pop culture.**
This will mark its third year, and as there’s a boom in experience-style trips, there will be “experiences” in addition to the distribution of information. The main stage will continue to feature cutting-edge Japanese culture in the form of fashion, music, and anime, but there will also be content in which you can feel various kinds of Japanese culture, as well as a food area where you can try different Japanese food, among other events, making this an updated content festival.
