World Masterpiece Theater is a TV anime series featuring animated versions of classic books and stories, such as Heidi, Girl of the Alps and Anne of Green Gables. Nippon Animation, the producer and license holder of the series, has granted the license to Plabi Co., Ltd., a company that develops amusement facilities and themed recreational complexes. On Wednesday, Nov. 23, Plabi will be opening a World Masterpiece Theater-themed cafe and restaurant called World Masterpiece Theater Fan Fun Kitchen, so you'll be able to enter a fun-filled world inspired by beloved stories and characters!
The Ario Hashimoto shopping mall in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture is currently being renovated, and the opening of the World Masterpiece Theater Fan Fun Kitchen will coincide with the mall’s reopening. Many customers visit the mall with their families, with some groups spanning three generations. Since the World Masterpiece Theater TV anime series first aired in 1975, the World Masterpiece Theater Fan Fun Kitchen is sure to delight visitors of all ages.
As a family restaurant with cafe features, the World Masterpiece Theater Fan Fun Kitchen is a cafe and restaurant all in one. At this unique establishment, you can enjoy a delicious meal together with family and friends while immersed in the world of the World Masterpiece Theater series. The menu offers satisfying meals inspired by anime from the series, cute desserts, and drinks, while alcoholic beverages are available in the evening. There's also a small party room that's perfect for all kinds of occasions, such as birthday parties or gatherings with friends. In the sales area, you can get your hands on World Masterpiece Theater merchandise, plus sweets that you can take home with you to enjoy the magical world of World Masterpiece Theater a little longer.

Inside the Cafe and Restaurant
Inside the entrance to the store, there's a tree with Rascal from Rascal the Raccoon peeking out. It's a great place to take a photo to remember your visit! The interior of the store is inspired by a room from Green Gables, the house that Anne is sent to in Anne of Green Gables, and the party room also features Anne of Green Gables-inspired decorations. In the sales area, World Masterpiece Theater merchandise and sweets are available for purchase.

If you order a drink, you'll receive a coaster, and you can choose whichever design you like the best.
■ Stamp Card
Use a stamp card to collect stamps each time you enjoy a tasty World Masterpiece Theater-inspired treat and receive wonderful presents, with different presents available depending on how many stamps you've collected.
■ World Masterpiece Theater Season Market (currently under development)
The series' characters recommend items from locations that appear in the series at the Sekai no Gotochi Market! Meaning "Worldwide Local Specialty Market," the market's theme changes according to the season. So depending on when you visit, you can enjoy themes like Anne's Tea Shop or Nero's Christmas Market!

Workshops inspired by the World Masterpiece Theater series will be held in the store's party space during the winter and spring holidays. Examples include the Character Latte Art Classroom and Nero's Drawing Classroom.
