Universal Cool Japan 2017 is set to launch with the Sengoku: The Real at Osaka Castle event from Dec. 16, 2016 to March 12, 2017 followed by in-park attractions Godzilla: The Real 4D, Evangelion XR Ride, Attack on Titan: The Real, and Monster Hunter: The Real from Jan. 13 to June 25, 2017.
Monster Hunter: The Real is the fourth instalment in the Universal Cool Japan 2017 series and is inspired by the internationally popular game which has sold over 38 million copies (as of Sept. 30) which makes hunting monsters with friends its focus through its groundbreaking communication system that allows for cooperative hunting action.
Experience the Chase for Feal! Monster Hunter: The Real Is Finally Here!
Universal Studios Japan is pulling out all the stops to recreate the world of Monster Hunter for Monster Hunter: The Real. Guests will be able to hunt life-size monsters over 30-meters tall as part of the Panorama Theatre Attraction, entering the world of Monster Hunter, coming face to face with terrifying monsters, and experiencing an attack for real!
Displayed on the giant 43-meter screen will be Amatsumagatsuchi, the first place winner of the Best Monster Ranking (Elder Dragon Edition) which is a part of the Monster Hunter Ranking Charts from the official 10th anniversary site, and Barufaruku, the life-size monster from the latest game Monster Hunter Generations. Guests will be able to split into teams to mercilessly take down these two monsters!
