The eggstremely sluggish Sanrio character Gudetama believes that he'll wind up being eaten one day, and that day might be sooner than he thinks! (ゝ∀･) Create Restaurants Holdings Inc. is opening a collaboration cafe with the wildly popular character in Dining Park Ikebukuro on the eighth floor of Seibu Ikebukuro Honten, located close to Ikebukuro Station's east exit. Gudetama Cafe Ikebukuro is open from Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 until Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, so make sure to visit for plenty of Gudetama-themed fun and tasty treats if you're in Japan while it's open!
Gudetama Cafe Ikebukuro is a unique cafe where the incredibly lazy and unmotivated Gudetama (who can be boiled, fried, or enjoyed in his natural raw state) is transformed and served up to customers in an amazing variety of meals, desserts, and drinks.

Gudetama Cafe Ikebukuro is the only place in Tokyo where you can enjoy this special Gudetama menu. Starting with the "Lazy Loadsa Veggies Gude-White Curry," which is bound to charm fans with its depiction of Gudetama sprawled out on top of delicious white curry, the menu is packed with Gudetama-themed delights. The impressive "Mountain of Roast Beef Bowl (with Oxtail Soup)" features layer upon layer of roast beef and comes with a bowl of rich and tasty oxtail soup. The incredibly realistic sunny-side-up fried egg on top of the Ikebukuro-exclusive "Greedy Gudetama! Fruit-Filled Gude-Sunny-Side-Up Pancakes" is actually made from fruit! The "Toasty Warm Gude-Latte with a Gude-Butt Marshmallow!" uses Gudetama's most attractive feature (that iconic butt of his!) to appeal to fans. Everything from the food, desserts, and even the drinks are designed to help you enjoy the world of Gudetama to your heart's content.
