Escape games are taking over Japan with their “turn your life into an adventure!” approach, and Nazo x Nazo Gekidan (Haregake) has teamed up with Japan’s oldest amusement park, Hanayashiki, to hold “Yuenchi Kara no Dasshutsu” (Escape from the Amusement Park) events periodically in the park after dark which have been running since November 2015.
Through offering an escape game experience, the park hopes to appeal to a new set of visitors who will enjoy the real life setting of the park after closing time. Hopefully first time visitors to the escape game event will have such a good time that they’ll find themselves wanting to come back to the park during the day.
The Haregake Hanayashiki collaborative escape game events will be held at regular intervals. Right now they’re up to number four with the Halloween-themed “Yoru no Ghost Yuenchi Kara Dasshutsu” (Escape from the Ghost Amusement Park at Night) event which is set to fill Hanayashiki with scary monsters!
