Jetoy Japan Store, the Japanese branch of the Korean Jetoy company which specialises in merchandise for the cute cat character Choo Choo, is set to collaborate with Wachifield’s equally adorable cat character Dayan for a cat lovers’ project aiming to revitalise the area by creating a cat-themed paradise. The second event in this exciting project is set to take place on Sept. 25 when Choo Choo creator Kim Myoung-su will be making a special visit to Harajuku!
The “Neko Yashiki Project” began on Sept. 3 inspired by the opening of Wachifield’s store dedicated to its Dayan cat character in the same building as the Jetoy Japan Store. The project aims to revitalise the areas around Harajuku, Shibuya, and Shinjuku, and as a special celebration of the launch, Choo Choo creator Kim Myoung-su will be visiting for an autograph party.

Kim Myoung-su Signing Event
During the day of the event, customers spending over 5,000 yen in total at the Jetoy Japan Store or Neko no Dayan no Kawa Koubou (Dayan the Cat Leather Works) will receive a commemorative leather charm. Choo Choo’s creator, Kim Myoung-su, will also be signing the charms with an electric pen.

Neko Yashiki Project
A tiny cat empire has sprung up in a tiny building on a tiny byway that locals have come to think of as “Cat Street.” In this old-fashioned place which looks the kind to attract a healthy amount of cats, customers climb the cat silhouetted stairs to find the Dayan specialist store, Dayan no Kawa Koubou (Dayan the Cat Leather Works) on the second floor with Choo Choo waiting one floor up in the third floor Jetoy Japan Store. Stretching out from “Cat Street,” cat lovers have come together to create the Neko Yashiki Project in order to revitalise the areas around Harajuku, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. Right now, they’re looking for new feline friends to help make the project even bigger as well as way more fun.
Jetoy Japan Store
The physical store dedicated to all things Choo Choo - the cute misty eyed cat character with round pink cheeks. Choo Choo is not just popular among cat lovers but has also captured the hearts of women everywhere with its grown up cuteness.

Neko no Dayan Koubou
A showroom for leather goods featuring cat character Dayan. The brand’s flagship, the store was founded as a sister to the Shinjuku Labyrinth store. Making the most of its leather working strengths, the brand produces cute, small leather items with the Dayan cat character at its centre and is known for the high quality of its leather goods.
