Smashcore Entertainment is accepting orders for the 23rd piece in their Type:YOU original voice actor computer series at Only One PC Store Smashcore between Aug. 29 and Oct. 28. Lending her voice this time is none other than Aya Uchida, who is best known for her role as Kotori Minami in Love Live!!
There is a new addition in the lineup, too: A USB drive with an original talking mascot designed by Ayucchi herself!
So, what’s so cool about these computers?
1. The entire exterior of the computer/tablet is designed by the voice actor herself.
2. Three different desktop themes are included (that’s three different types of 20 system notification voices, meaning 60 voice clips in total).
- Aya Uchida can help you navigate Windows 10 or 8.1 through the 20 most common notification alerts which are included with the three different desktops which means you get a total of 60 different voice clips across the three sets. So you could soon hear Aya exclaim something like “Taihen! System error sensei hassei!” (Oh no! A system error has occurred!).
3. Aside from all of that, you can also give your name and two favourite phrases to be specially recorded when you place your order.
- For example, you can set a direct mail notification which includes your name as one of your two choices to be recorded just for you. Eg: “Hey there, XY! Huh, mail? Who’s it from, who’s it from???”
- Your chosen phrases must contain fewer than 20 hiragana characters.
- Feel free to include your name in your choices.
- Phrases and names which are related to or conflict with the copyright of another company will be rejected.
