A special movie created with the rail transfer and fare information service Eki-Supaato (pronounced like "Expert"), Departure of Sayo and Kou was posted on YouTube in April 2016 and it's since reached over 970,000 views. It steps outside the confines of an advert and continues to touch the hearts of a great number of people. The book of Departure of Sayo and Kou reorganises the short animation into one book along with extra scenes.

■ The Story of Departure of Sayo and Kou
*Departure of Sayo and Kou* tells the story of the high school student Sayo, who wishes to change herself but can't step forward, and her older brother Kou, a university student who tries to stay honest to himself and follow his own unique dreams. What message does Kou send his sister Sayo as she grows more and more frustrated with daily life...?

Eisaku Kubonouchi's pencil illustrations beautifully express Sayo's sensitive feelings, and thanks to Mariya Nukazuka's screenplay, viewers across generations can empathise with the characters of this animation. Her script captures the troubles of a female high school student magnificently while creating a world with a sense of transparency. It's the kind of story that makes you want to change yourself and set off on the journey to a new you.
