The world of Alice in Wonderland unfolds in Kobe! A member of the Hankyu Hanshin Holdings Group and the operator of the Rokko International Musical Box Museum, Mt. Rokko Cable Car & Tourism Company is holding a special exhibition titled, “Enjoy Alice in Wonderland with Musical Boxes.” They are also organizing the event “Enjoy the Mad Tea Party in Cosplay” on Oct. 29 that is definitely worth checking out for Alice fans in the area!

Enjoy the Mad Tea Party in Cosplay
In a European style interior decorated with antique music boxes made in the 19th century, the same period Alice in Wonderland was written, participants can become characters from the iconic fairy tale and enjoy an exceptional tea party in the concert showroom. The participants are also able to appreciate an Alice-themed Musical Box Theater performance (a live music performance to videos projected on the screen) while sipping tea from the sets specially made for Strauss Cafe. “Enjoy Alice in Wonderland with Musical Boxes” Special Exhibition
In this exhibition, the story of Alice in Wonderland recreated by contemporary artists comes to life on a screen, accompanied by the heartwarming tones of antique music boxes.
