Eternal Link, a company that has their hands in both virtual currency and IT solutions, joined the fun side on July 24 and officially opened their cosplay portal website to the world! Dubbed Cos-Crew, the site’s whole concept is sharing the Japanese subculture of cosplay globally!
To be more specific, this includes things like cosplayer marketing, cosplayer news, and spreading cosplay culture to countries outside of Japan - especially the less-known aspects of it.
They also plan to promote various events and cover participation in said events. The first of this coverage happened on the day the site opened at the nearest station to engage fans who were attending Wonder Festival!

Of course, the world already regards Japan as the hotspot (and origin) of cosplay culture - but other countries have quickly embraced it with large-scale events, like Myanmar and Thailand. But this is exactly why Cos-Crew wants to continue in sharing the culture - there’s potential for it to become mainstream is so many different countries!

● Interviews with cosplayers, news columns, along with extensive videos and photographs
● Submissions of reports and various media by cosplayers themselves, with extensive interactive capabilities amongst each other
■ Current Initiatives
● A system that pairs photographers and cosplayers
Cosplayers can have the ultimate SAFE fun. A system will be introduced where, no matter the country, there’s a rating system for registered photographers so you can choose wisely.
● A multilingual (Chinese & English) site.
So that cosplay culture can truly be spread globally, Cos-Crew is working on making the site available in several languages so non-Japanese can still participate.
