The collaborative Godzilla vs Evangelion project began because the co-producer of the latest Godzilla film, Godzilla Resurgence, happens to be none other than Hideaki Anno, the creator of the Evangelion anime series. This figure stands at an impressive 15" tall, and it's based on the idea "What if Evangelion Unit-01 was infected with G-cells 1?"
Although this figure's basic form is that of Unit-01, it's got plenty of Godzilla-like features - the rough skin that covers almost its entire body, the dorsal fins along its spine, and that long, sinuous tail are unmistakably Godzilla. It features the classic Unit-01 colours of purple and green, and judging by the way it's posed with its mouth gaping wide, it's probably busy threatening an enemy with a terrifying howl.
This unique figure raises a lot of questions, like, "Is Unit-01 about to be completely taken over by G-cells?" and, "What are its strengths and attacks?" With its overwhelming presence, this original creation is only possible through the Godzilla vs Evangelion project.
