Are you familiar with the Shinjuku Creators Festa? It’s an event that aims to liven up Shinjuku through art. This time, the festa will take form in an exhibition featuring Hungry Shinjuku Gourmands (Harapeko Shinjuku Kuidouraku), a manga serialized in the newsletter of the Tokyo School of Media Art at Takarazuka University held at Mirukku, a gallery located under O-Guard at JR Shinjuku Station.
Written by Ayumaru, a graduate student of the university’s manga field, the manga follows Hara and Peko, two girls who attend the Tokyo School of Media Art and run a restaurant in Shinjuku at the same time. The exhibition introduces the manga, characters, and everything you might want to know, so if you’re near Tokyo, it’s definitely worth a look!
