Story:
Hajime and Miyuki are invited to a small village deep in the mountains by a senpai from the school’s Mystery Research Club. The village has a scary tradition: In imitation of an ancient legend, they have to offer a sacrifice every year, and the girl who invited them returned to fulfill her role as this year’s sacrifice. On the night of the sacrifice, Hajime and Miyuki hurry to the small shrine and pry open the doors in an attempt to rescue their senpai, but she’s nowhere to be found… Where did she disappear to and what’s the truth behind this “legend”? The sorrowful story surrounding the mystery-shrouded village of Shikigami-mura is about to reach its end!

It is only then that they learn of the other part of the story: The guardian spirit of the island shall slaughter greedy treasure hunters.
