With warmer weather comes grand summertime adventures, and those in the Tokyo area are about to get their chance to explore some delectable, limited-time only flavors!
On the B1 floor of Dai-Ichi Hotel Tokyo is a gem of an exquisite international buffet named l'Etoile. Kicking off their "Gourmet Festival: Delectable Overload!" on July 1, the brave and the curious can try their hand at a truly unique dish: tomato-flavored shaved ice atop chilled Japanese-style noodles.

A curious item on l'Etoile's highly-recommended summer menu, this dish combines two summertime favorites: shaved ice and fine-white noodles. With even a smattering of minced meat joining the shaved ice as it rests atop the noodles, this surprisingly delicious creation offers complementary and nuanced flavors that make it one of the must-have dishes of the summer - especially with its refreshing chilled noodles and other cooler elements.
