Doshisha is about to launch a new brand of cute cosmetics designed by popular illustrator Econeco which will be available in stores across Japan from early June.
Econeco is out to conquer the world! A popular illustrator, Econeco’s work is well loved both in Japan and overseas for its pastel colours and cute animals. There are 12 items in this new collection of cosmetics each of which is sure to make your heart beat faster with its brand of adorable elegance. They aren’t just cute though, the makeup is also great as a moisturiser and concealer too.

Econeco Moisturising Foundation
Powder Foundation (11g) 1,600 yen (excluding tax)
The powder foundation is a great concealer for pores, blemishes, freckles and anything else you might be worrying about as well as helping to protect the natural sheen of your face as it doesn’t crumble easily either. It can also help provide texture by smoothing out pores and wrinkles. It’s not just makeup, it’s skincare too.
The powder foundation comes in a compact with a mirror. There are two different versions available: light ochre (bright skin color), and natural ochre (natural skin color)
Econeco Moisturising Face Powder
Face Powder (8g) 1,600 yen (excluding tax)
The Econeco face power has a lovely, light feeling and is great for covering color irregularities, redness, or dullness, and its velvety quality will keep you skin feeling smooth for a long time. It’s makeup and skincare all in one package.

Super speedy apply and go cream! Great for restoring dullness and color variations to a natural look, but you can also use it as a base layer too. Blusher to add some cute colouring to your cheeks that is sure to last and last with your natural colour continuing too. Sure to add a little sparkle to your look!
The blusher comes with a puff which has a cute ribbon on the top and the balls have a little heart motif too. There are two versions available: champaign orange (feel good, healthy skin), and candy pink (unbeatably cute baby face)
Econeco Fragrant Non Silicone Shampoo / Conditioner

Hair care products filled with the beauty of the ocean! The shampoo and conditioner comes in a cute bottle too so you can float away into a lovely dream during your bath time. There are two different versions you can choose from depending on the kind of hair you’d like to have:
1: Moist and graceful (the fragrance of love and romance)
Perfect for repairing dry and damaged hair to a soft and gentle finish for lovely, easy to manage hair. Has a sweet, fruity fragrance.
2: Smooth and silky (white floral fragrance)
Gives a moisturising gloss to hair and scalp producing a beautifully smooth finish. Ideal if you’re looking for healthy head and hair. Has an elegant, refreshing bouquet fragrance.
