Since its first holding in 2014, Ultra Japan has become an urban electronic music festival that dance music fans throughout Japan are wild about. It has been confirmed that it will next be held on three days from Sept. 17–19, 2016 at a venue in Odaiba. The first round of discounted limited advance tickets began at 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 20.
The scope of the event was expanded with Ultra Japan 2015, which saw 90,000 visitors over its three days, double that of the previous year, and gathered together 80 stellar artists. Over 110,000 posts were made to SNS from attendees over its three days, making the entertainment cut between not just the artists but the attendees themselves.
Ultra Japan is a music festival with such diverse fun to be had it’s impossible to express in a word. There’s no telling what kind of evolutions are in store for 2016, so don’t take your eyes off of it!
