Tokyo One Piece Tower: Halloween Event “Zombie Pretty Fever” Kicks Off

Tokyo One Piece Tower: Halloween Event &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Zombie Pretty Fever&rdquor; Kicks Off

For 15 days from Oct. 17–31, Tokyo One Piece Tower, a large theme park inside Tokyo Tower, is holding a special event for the Halloween season: “Zombie Pretty Fever,” a dance performance show with popular character Perona.

“Zombie Pretty Fever.” Perona and zombies dancing together and games that audience members can take part in heat up the stage.

Perona is a Gothic Lolita girl and subordinate to one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Gekko Moriah. The inside of the Tokyo One Piece Tower takes the appearance of the fun island “Tongari Island,” and Perona, lover of all things cute, in an attempt to establish her “dream country” of nothing but zombies, puts on the special dance show “Zombie Pretty Fever.”

They even show the scene where Perona touches a zombie’s heart with that one technique.

A game of rock, paper, scissors played on stage with Perona and two members chosen from the audience. Tons of people, including mainly female fans, gathered for the show.

A pre-show was held for members of the press the night before the show’s opening. Roughly 100 special guests were invited dressed as Perona and Kumashi (the doll Perona carries around), bringing the stage to a climax (Note: From 10/17 there is no dress code for the public event).

Special guests were given citizen certificates to Perona’s “dream country.”
