A limited time Love Live! School Idol Project Halloween shop is coming to Shibuya, Tokyo. The “Love Live! Happy Halloween! in Shibuya Marui” shop will be open from Oct. 16 to Nov. 1 in the eighth floor event space of Shibuya Marui. The shop will have a variety of fun items for sale including exclusive products. This project synced with the season is one that will appeal to fans.
The products available at the “Love Live! Happy Halloween! in Shibuya Marui” shop will feature exclusive deformed artwork based on the μ's (pronounced “Muse”) Halloween song “Dancing Stars on Me!” The store also has a variety of other plans in store to excite customers including displays of advance products and large cutout panels of the deformed illustrations.
Furthermore, for each purchase of 3,000 yen or more (including tax) customers will be able to use their receipt to enter a lottery to win an original premium product. Up for grabs will be acrylic art plates, mini SD stands, postcards, and more.
If that wasn’t enough, a collaboration has also been confirmed with “HMM x Love Live! Select Shop” which opened in Harajuku on Sept. 19. Customers who make a purchase at each shop will receive as a present an original postcard.
Love Live! School Idol Project began as a project between Dengeki G’s Magazine, Sunrise, and Lantis. The series created a huge boom when it was adapted into a TV anime in 2013. It is popular for its merchandise and events too, with the Shibuya shop being one such event. With the recent release of the series’ first movie, Love Live! The School Idol Movie, becoming such a big hit too, it seems the series’ momentum won’t be slowing down any time soon.
