New character shops will soon be opening for the popular TV anime Blood Blockade Battlefront that was broadcast from April to July this year. Character pop-up stores themed after the anime will open simultaneously on Sept. 10 in three cities in Japan: Kawasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture, Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture, and Kyoto. Namco, popular for their amusement centers, will open the pop-up stores for a limited time only.
The character pop-up stores will feature that same merch shop and raffle that were popular at the First Avenue Tokyo Station street wagon shop open until July 31. There will also be mini attractions and panel displays. The open space will be packed full of the charms of Blood Blockade Battlefront.
Beginning with products related to the series, the merch shops will also have store-exclusive originals and new items for sale. An original raffle will also be held titled “Welcome to Libra,” a no-lose raffle in which players can win store-exclusive original items including “Acrylic Stand Keychains,” “Special Movie Badges,” and postcards.
The mini attraction “Save Hellsalem’s Lot! Sonic Capture Operation” is one themed after the first episode of the TV anime. In this attraction, players use Leonardo’s “All-Seeing Eyes of God”
and throw balls to hold off the King of Depravity Femt’s plans! Depending on the lowest box that a ball is thrown into, players can win a variety of original items from the stores. The raffle can be enjoyed for 420 yen per entry (tax included).
The character pop-up stores will be open from Sept. 10 to mid-November in Kanagawa, Aichi, and Kyoto. With Blood Blockade Battlefront being in the news so much lately, these are likely to gain attention. Look forward to further developments.
