New information has been revealed regarding the popular TV anime La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky that was broadcast from April to June 2014. A musical themed after the anime titled La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky: First Stage will be performed beginning Sept. 4. The first character visual to this musical has been posted. Along with this, the sales schedule for tickets to the event “La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky National Student Music Competition” to be held at Toyosu Pit on Oct. 25 has been determined.
The musical La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky: First Stage is gaining attention for its varied cast playing the characters. The visual revealed this time shows Takahisa Maeyama as Kyoya Kisaragi, Mario Kuroba as Ritsu Kisaragi, and Risako Ito as Kanade Kohinata. They are spot-on portrayals down to the color of their hair, and their stances as they ready their violins are striking. The musical will be performed 13 times total from Sept. 4–13 at Space Zero. S-seats cost 8,900 yen and A-seats 6,900 yen (both include tax).
The cast of the TV anime broadcast in 2014 will also appear at the event “La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky National Student Music Competition.” Currently, 10 cast members have been confirmed: Reiko Takagi (Kanade Kohinata), Jun Fukuyama (Kyoya Kisaragi), Yuya Uchida (Daichi Sakaki, Kaori Mizuhashi (Haruto Mizushima), Kentaro Ito (Yukihiro Yagisawa), Masakazu Morita (Shiro Hozumi), Daisuke Kishio (Mizushima Arata), Hideo Ishikawa (Hosei Toki), Satoshi Hino (Reiji Myoga), and Yuki Masuda (Sosuke Nanami).
Priority registration for tickets began for those who bought the Blu-ray or DVD box set at 12:00 p.m. on July 13. A raffle for tickets will take place on Aug. 19. Details regarding advance ticket sales on Koei Tecmo Games’ news site Gamecity and through ticket machines will be announced in the coming days. Premium seats cost 13,800 yen and standing cost 7,800 yen. A separate 500-yen drink fee is required per ticket, and all prices include tax.
