On June 13, Love Live! The School Idol Movie will be released throughout Japan. In time with this, it has been revealed that a limited-time shop called “Love Live! School Idol Project x Shibuya Marui Shop” will be open from June 12 to July 15. This collaboration shop set up in the eighth floor event space of Shibuya Marui will likely gain popularity.
New merchandise will be available at the “Love Live! The School Idol Project x Shibuya Marui Shop,” of course, and there will also be an exhibit area. A movie advertisement and window display showing original deformed artwork will also be displayed on the building’s outer walls beginning June 1. There is much to note for this collaboration shop that will bring massive appeal to the movie’s release.
In an effort to alleviate congestion in the shop, admittance will be drawn by lottery from June 12–21. Entrance to this lottery will be accepted from May 30 at 12:00 p.m. to June 3 at 12:00 p.m. Details on the event including items on sale at the shop will be announced in the coming days.
Love Live! School Idol Project is a joint project between Dengeki G’s Magazine published by Kadokawa/ASCII Media Works, anime production studio Sunrise, and music label Lantis. The project began in Dengeki G’s Magazine in 2010. TV anime were broadcast in 2013 and 2014, and the first movie in the series, Love Live! The School Idol Movie, was released. The new movie takes place at Otonokizaka Academy in Chiyoda, Tokyo and will depict the activities of the school idol group μ's (Muse) comprised of nine high school girls.
