Alien Guts will be the second in the Ultra Kaiju Humanization Project series of girl character figures
Alien Guts from Tsuburaya Productions’ official Ultra Kaiju Humanization Project is to become a figure. The Ultra Kaiju Humanization Project takes once popular aliens and kaiju and “reboots” them as cute girls. Unexpected kaiju turning into unexpectedly cute girls - it’s caused quite a stir. This time you can look forward to the evil alien from Ultraman, Alien Guts, transforming into a cute, gentle young lady.
The Ultra Kaiju Humanization Project is a popular project published in the manga magazines Dengeki Hobby Magazine and Dengeki G’s Magazine. An official Tsuburaya Productions operation, every month one of the kaiju or an alien from the Ultra Series will be transformed into a bishoujo character. The “Ultra Kaiju Humanization Project Series Figure Collection” by Surprise Next began in September 2014. Continuing from the first figure in the collection, Gomora, Alien Guts will be the second character to receive the figure treatment.
The original Alien Guts first appeared in the Ultraman Seven episode “The Seven Assassination Plan.” They are famous for having thoroughly analysed Ultra Seven’s capabilities and possessing the true strength to defeat and crucify him.
In the Ultra Kaiju Humanization Project, Alien Guts has been reborn as a cute girl at the hands of illustrator Nekokan Masshigura (Nitroplus). While at first glance she may appear to be a gentle young girl, in truth Alien Guts is the master of a genius intellect. Having won so many battles, she thinks of herself as being unrivalled in space. She’s very popular too - at the Ultra Kaiju Humanization Project Art Exhibit held in Akihabara in February 2015, she ranked at number four in a fan vote. With her large bust faithfully reproduced along with all the details you couldn’t see in the back side of the illustration, you can enjoy all her charms from various angles.
Also, because Alien Guts is also known as the “Alter Ego Alien,” a special limited edition “Alter Ego” set of two figures will be sold directly from the official website. Those who purchase directly from the official website will also receive a special bonus original keychain. The standard edition figure will retail for 12,800 yen and the “Alter Ego” limited edition set for 23,600 yen (excluding tax). The pre-order deadline is set for May 31, 2015. The Ultra Kaiju Humanization Project plans to release even more characters as figures from here on.
