On Wednesday, Feb. 4, Sumire Uesaka’s first illustration exhibit opened in the pixiv Zingaro gallery in Nakano Broadway. Illustration collections and original goods are also for sale at the exhibit. The exhibit will run for two weeks, and during this time it will collaborate with Bar Zingaro, located inside Nakano Broadway. Bar Zingaro is managed by Kaikai Kiki, a company spearheaded by modern artist Takashi Murakami.
Sumire Uesaka made her full-blown debut as a voice actress with the role of Sora Takanashi in Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!. She has since played the roles of Sanae Dekomoori in Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, Peach Maki in Hozuki no Reitetsu, and Fubuki in Kantai Collection - KanColle. She is an up-and-coming voice actress who’s grabbing the spotlight not just for her voice acting ability, but her unique fashion sense as well.
The collaboration menu between the Sumire Uesaka Illustration Exhibit and Bar Zingaro features an “Executive Set” and a “Blue-Collar Set.” The “Executive Set” comes with an “Executive Mocha” and baked sweets, whereas the “Blue-Collar Set” comes with a “Blue-Collar Shake” and baked sweets. The “Executive Mocha” is a cafe mocha and features on the surface Uesaka’s familiar logo. The “Blue-Collar Shake” is a cocktail shake in a citrus flavor that uses yogurt, Uesaka’s favorite food.
Each set comes with an original coaster. For a set plus 500 yen, visitors can get an original house cloth thought up by Uesaka as limited edition merchandise.
Her CDs are also for sale in the merchandise area. The exhibit will run from Feb. 4 (Wed.) to 17 (Tues.).
