The broadcast to the new TV anime series Magic Kaito 1412 will begin on Oct. 3 on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV channels. The original work to Magic Kaito 1412 is a popular series that is indeterminately published in Weekly Shonen Sunday (Shogakukan).
The series was created by Gosho Aoyama who is known for the nationally popular series Detective Conan, and it ties into its world. Kaito Kuroba aka Kaito Kid is Detective Conan’s rival. He became popular for his smug dialogue and flashy actions. The series is called Magic Kaito due to the protagonist being Kaito.
Now, Magic Kaito is becoming a TV anime series. It will broadcast on Saturday’s at 17:30, a time when families and kids can enjoy it. Directly following the broadcast will be Detective Conan. The high anticipation for this series can be felt. Directing is Susumu Kudo and producing the animation is A-1 Pictures. This is a fall 2014 series to take notice of.
It has also been announced that twin vocal unit Revalcy will be in charge of the anime’s ending theme. The name of the song is “White of Crime” and it is Revalcy’s major debut song. Songwriter Akio Inoue and composer/arranger Daisuke Asakura also had a big part on the song. Anticipation is growing large for both this big title anime and Revalcy. Their debut single will release on Nov. 26.
Revalcy is a two-person unit comprised of brothers Takeshi and Takumi. Their specialties are harmony and vocal combinations. Based around R&B, their charming sound draws from many genres including rock, dance, and more. Both members are athletes who have competed in a national basketball tournament in Japan. It seems likely that these tall, refreshing characters will become popular. Revalcy’s official site just launched and on it you can listen to “White of Crime” in advance.
