Pre-orders for “Romantic Doll: The Rose of Versailles Oscar François,” a character doll of Oscar, the main character of the incredibly popular Riyoko Ikeda’s manga The Rose of Versailles who is a beautiful woman crossdressing as a man, will begin on Monday, Sept. 29 on Takara Tomy’s official shopping site, Takara Tomy Mall.
The character doll “Romantic Doll: The Rose of Versailles Oscar François” is a doll that faithfully captures Oscar, a beautiful woman crossdressing as a man whom females surely longed for at least once. In order to come as close as possible to the image of Oscar as drawn by Ikeda in the original work, the doll was created down to the tiniest details, including the molding of her face. What’s more, she looks gallant in her familiar Imperial Guard outfit that has been gorgeously finished off with ample and dazzling gold fabric.
The doll also comes with a change of clothes: a white blouse and slender bellbottoms. This is the outfit Oscar wears during her private time in her mansion. With this doll, fans can enjoy both Oscar in her Imperial Guard outfit and Oscar in her everyday loungewear.
