Level-5 has announced that first week sales for its Nintendo 3DS game Youkai Watch 2: Ganso and Honke which released on July 10 surpassed 1.3 million.
Youkai Watch is a cross-media project that began as a game and developed into anime, manga, and merchandise. The newest game in the series, Youkai Watch 2: Ganso and Honke, includes a new town created down to the tiniest details, new youkai, a story that sheds light on the origins of Youkai Watch and other drastic improvements. The game is also packed with components for enjoying it with friends, such as the four-player mode “Youkai Watch Busters.”
Because of the support it has received, more than 1.3 million copies of the packaged version of Youkai Watch 2: Ganso and Honke have been sold. The series’ momentum is still going full steam ahead, so keep this series on your radar.
