On the Dec. 18 edition of Nintendo’s presentation show Nintendo Direct, the Wii U game Hyrule Warriors was announced. The game is slated to release in summer 2014 as both packaged and download versions.
The game is a collaboration between Nintendo and Tecmo Koei Games. It uses the mechanics and gameplay of the Warriors series while being set in Hyrule, the world of The Legend of Zelda. A video showing Link mowing down hordes of enemies has been released.
