In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel, an MMD model supervised by character designer Akemi Takada became available on a commemorative site for the series on Nov. 15. In addition to the launch of a contest using the MMD model of Creamy Mami on Nico Nico Douga, the anime has also begun to be distributed for free.
Submissions to the contest “Pierrot Official MMD Contest: Creamy Mami 30th Anniv. Stage” will be accepted of works from any genre including dance PVs, short dramas, and parodies. Submissions will be accepted from Jan. 11-13, 2014. Thereafter, the submissions will be voted on. There are no restrictions to be able to participate. More details on this contest will be announced shortly.
On Nov. 8, free distribution of the anime began on Nico Nico Douga. Episodes 1-5 will be available only for one week. Episode 6 and onward will subsequently be released.
