Hatsune Miku is on the Front Cover of the Comptiq 30th Anniversary Issue! A Special PV of Nothing but Miku Has Also Been Released!

The digital contents magazine Comptiq (published by Kadokawa) launched on Nov. 10, 1983. On Nov. 9, the 30th anniversary issue of the magazine was released.

The attention-worthy front cover features an illustration of Hatsune Miku drawn exclusively for the issue by Kei. Also, as part of a 30th anniversary promotion, a collaboration video with Mitchie M was realized for which he supplied his representative song “Viva Happy,” which has achieved more than 1 million views on Nico Nico Douga. The PV takes a close look at Kei’s front cover illustration, showing its process and evolution and culminating with the final version.

In addition to the video being available online, it is also being broadcast on TV in Japan.
