Violin Virtuoso Enthusiastically Performs Anime Songs?!

Violinist Ayako Ishikawa is known as the best performer in Australia. She was even awarded a “Distinguished Talent Permanent Visa” by the Australian government. Ishikawa is now picking up attention for videos of her performing anime songs that she uploaded to Nico Nico Douga.

Ishikawa began playing the violin at the age of four. At the age of five, she moved to London and began attending the prestigious music school The Purcell School, becoming the youngest person to ever pass the audition and enroll in the school. She received several awards in Japan and England and moved to Australia at the age of 15. There, she was awarded with the prestigious Australian Musicians Academy Award. She has won many contests and awards including the Performing Arts Challenging Contest and the All-Australian Soloist Tournament. Due to her myriad of achievements, she was awarded with the title of Best Performer in Australia. She has gathered great popularity in Sydney and is known by many as “Devils Ayako.”

This world-renowned violinist can now be seen passionately performing Vocaloid and anime songs on her violin. Her violin arrangements of the Vocaloid songs “The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku” and “Cutie Honey” as well as “Connect,” the opening theme of Madoka Magica, will make even though who have no interest in classical music go crazy.
