On Oct. 10, as a part of Sunstar’s “Ora² Kyary Hamigakyu” project, collaborative frames between Ora² and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu called “Ora² KAWAii Camera” joined Otaku Camera.
The “Ora² Kyary Hamigakyu” project is a global initiative by the oral health and beauty support brand Ora², which targets active females in their 20s and 30s, set in Japan and Asia (Thailand, Taiwan, and Singapore) to promote the “enjoyment” and “cuteness” of brushing your teeth. The project is also a collaboration with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, the face of Japan’s kawaii culture who is active worldwide. The project began in Japan on Oct. 10 and is slated to begin in Asia on Nov. 1.
By downloading the latest version of Otaku Camera, users in Japan and Asia can utilize Ora² KAWAii Camera to enjoy a free “sample frame” from the Japan- and Asia-limited frame package created for use in the Ora² project. Furthermore, by buying Ora² products with an attached campaign sticker and using Ora² KAWAii Camera to read the QR code, users can unlock the additional 17 “campaign frames.” The frames will be available on Otaku Camera until Feb. 28, 2014.
