TOM Special Creator Belcorno, also known as Bel, shares vividly colored latte creations on his Twitter feed every day including latte art of characters from the popular browser game Kantai Collection. The brightly hued latte art of the characters themed after battleships is extremely cute and a must-see.
Bel works as the owner and chef of the italian restaurant Belcorno located in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture. On Aug. 21, he began creating the Kantai Collection latte art and has since then made latte art of Shimakaze, Samidare, Akagi, Furutaka, Yamashiro, Satsuki, Kongou, and Inazuma. Typically, latte artists only use espresso and milk, but Bel uses various colors to complete each character. Official Kantai Collection members have even given the latte art their seal of approval and said the art was amazing.
Fans can view Bel’s diverse past work via his Twitter gallery and TOM Portfolio that includes Disney, mascot, and Ghibli characters. Bel is also greatly skilled at creating 3D latte art. It seems Bel will keep on creating new work each day for his fans to enjoy!
