Nano × Hiro Collaborative Song “Savior of Song” Chosen as OP for Anime “Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova-”

The opening theme to the anime Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova-, which will begin broadcasting this October, has been decided. The song chosen is “Savior of Song,” a collaboration between Nano and Hiro (My First Story). Quickly after this announcement, the song was used in the fourth promotional video for the anime that released on the official site on Aug. 9.

Nano is a bilingual singer who is primarily active online. She has attained popularity both within Japan and abroad. Hiro is a member of the rock band My First Story which has seen rapid growth in popularity due to their overwhelming live performances. This collaboration alone has contributed to rising anticipation. It seems it may sweep over both the anime and music scenes.

This collaboration will also exceed just this song. It has been revealed that Hiro will make guest appearances at Nano’s live concert “Color My World” beginning on Aug. 19 at the Tokyo and Osaka shows. Fans will be able to see the full version of this collaborative song live more than two months before the song actually releases.

Speaking of which, it has been decided that “Savior of Song” will be released as Nano’s third single on Oct. 30. Three versions of the single that each have a different song coupled with “Savior of Song” will be released. These coupled songs are “Silver Sky,” “Start Over,” and “Our Story.” Each version of the single will cost 1,100 yen (tax included). Also, the song “Silver Sky” will be used in the anime as a background song.
