Special Guests Heat Up the Seibu Dome During Recent Nana Mizuki Concerts!

Yōko Hikasa and T.M.Revolution appeared as special guests at the Nana Mizuki concerts held at Seibu Dome! At the same time, the second collaboration between Nana Mizuki and T.M.Revolution was announced!

The talented voice actress and artist Nana Mizuki kicked off her summer tour “Nana Mizuki Live Circus” on July 7 at Budokan in Ehime Prefecture. The tour covers 11 performances across eight venues all over Japan. The sixth and seventh performances of the tour were held on Aug. 3 and 4 in Saitama Prefecture at the Seibu Dome.

Fitting of the name “Circus,” the concerts featured a performance by the acrobatic dance group, G Rockets; a large, spinning globe; a baby elephant; a gigantic, shining float traveling around the outer perimeter of the stadium; and a water show during the popular songs “Power Gate,” “Eternal Blaze,” and Mizuki’s new single, “Vitalization.”

These two performances also included secret guests. During the encore of the Aug. 3 concert, Yōko Hikasa popped up in the middle of the stage, saying her same lines of dialogue used in the currently broadcasting anime Senki Zesshō Symphogear G before performing the insert song for the anime, “Fushichō no Flamme (Maria × Kazanari Tsubasa).”

This performance, which was proposed by Mizuki during post-recording, set the venue ablaze and was impressively cool, like a live scene from the anime. Fans couldn’t help but jump up and down.

After the encore during the Aug. 4 performance, the audience began to stir waiting for the final announcement to flow into the stadium, signalling the end of the show. While the audience was chanting, “Nana,” Mizuki reappeared on stage. After saying, “This is my present to all of you,” an intro played and T.M.Revolution (Takanori Nishikawa) appeared on stage.

Amid the ear-piercing cheers from the crowd, the two performed the huge hit collaboration song “Preserved Roses.” After Nishikawa expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you very much for inviting me today,” Mizuki mentioned that the performance was done on the fly without any previous rehearsal, which made the crowd go crazy once more.

Continuing on, Nishikawa explained, “It seems the two of us were able to start a new revolution with ‘Preserved Roses’,” after which their second collaboration song was announced. Mizuki then reported that the song will be used as the opening theme to the second season of Valvrave the Liberator to being broadcasting this October.

Every time Mizuki has a concert, it is full of various production elements and enjoyable moments. These was multiplied during these two concerts due to the special guests and news on the new collaboration. They were indeed a joyous two days for fans.
