Bandai Candy plans to sell “VoiCore Kuroko no Basuke Wafer 2” this August and “Kuroko no Basuke Chara Pucchi” this October, both themed after the anime Kuroko no Basuke (officially translated as The Basketball which Kuroko Plays). The second season of the anime will begin broadcasting this October.
The “VoiCore Kuroko no Basuke Wafer 2” is part of the “VoiCore” (short for Voice Collection) series that includes character voice visual cards. Fans can enjoy a voice clip of the character on the card they obtain by entering the serial code printed on it into a special website for the wafers. This time, there are three types of SP cards that have original, specially drawn illustrations on the wafers and original voice content. The details of the lineup can be viewed on the series’ official site.
The following voice stars are participating: Kenshō Ono (Kuroko Tetsuya), Yūki Ono (Kagami Taiga), Ryōhei Kimura (Kise Ryōta), Daisuke Ono (Midorima Shintarō), Junichi Suwabe (Aomine Daiki), Sōichirō Hoshi (Kasamatsu Yukio), and Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Takao Kazunari).
The “Kuroko no Basuke Pucchi” are chibi figures of characters from the series sitting on basketballs. The lineup includes protagonist Kuroko Tetsuya, Seirin High’s Kagami Taiga, Kaijō High’s Kise Ryōta, Shutoku High’s Midorima Shintarō, Tōō High’s Aomine Daiki, and Yōsen High’s Murasakibara Atsushi, all the core of the “Generation of Miracles.”
As the October broadcast approaches, various Kuroko no Basuke products are planned to be released, so be sure to keep a lookout!
