Max Factory, a toy and figure manufacturer, has produced many fan-loved figma. Since the series released in 2008, there have been various characters brought to life with these action figures. Vocaloid Hatsune Miku has been chosen as the celebratory No. 200 figma. “figma Hatsune Miku 2.0” is an updated version of the original “figma Hatsune Miku” that released in 2008, and Miku is dressed in the same costume. Pre-orders are currently being accepted for the figure, which will release this October.
The latest figure technology is being used to produce “figma Hatsune Miku 2.0.” The newly designed joint parts allow for realistic poses, and with such a broad range of motion, figure fans and photographers can fully express Hatsune Miku’s cuteness. The figma comes complete with three facial parts to express Miku looking happy and cute, singing while playfully winking, or becoming bashful and blushing. Props included are a mic, stand, guitar, and transparent angelic wings. Furthermore, an articulated figma stand is included which enables various poses and scenes to be expressed.
Also, a special checkered di:stage base unit will be given as a present to those who pre-order the figure from the Good Smile & Karaoke no Tetsujin Cafe or Good Smile online shop. The figma cost 3,900 yen (tax included) and pre-orders will be accepted until Aug. 21.
On Aug. 2, the figma will be on display at the talk event “5 Year Anniversary and Celebratory No. 200 figma Night.” An explanation of new figma from the producing staff, the inside story on production that can only be heard there, and other various content is planned. The event will be held at Loft Plus One in Shinjuku. Advanced tickets cost 1,500 yen each and day-of tickets cost 2,000 yen (including food and beverages).
