Opening Theme to “Lucky Star” Spin-off Work “Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku” to Release

The opening theme “Kachigumi” to Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku, a spin-off anime of the popular manga Lucky Star which has been broadcasting on Ustream since this April, will finally release on July 31.

The opening theme is performed by characters Izumi Konata (CV: Aya Hirano) and Kagami Hiiragi (CV: Emiri Katou). It is the first CD sang by Lucky Star characters to be released in about five years. It is made complete as a pop CD with the characteristic tunes of Kenichi Maeyamada, who was in charge of the music. It will be coupled with a new song by the character Akira Kogami.
