A character from ComiPo!, a manga creation software that is easy for all artistic levels, has been chosen to be the PR character of Seika, Kyoto, and nicknames for the character are now being accepted. It is the first time a local government will use ComiPo!-exclusive 3D character data. After her name is decided, free data for her character will be distributed for users.
The concept of Seika’s PR character is the image of “a messenger from the future coming and going from the ‘past, present, and beyond’” as well as the cutting-edge science of Kansai Science City which boasts creative arts, sciences, and research advancement to the world fused with Seika’s ancient history that remains documented in the Nihon Shoki. The character’s main color is the same green of Seika’s flag. City staff will now be able to personally create PR manga and illustrations using ComiPo! and the exclusive 3D character.
The past official 3D character of Microsoft’s Windows Azure, Claudia Madobe, and the 3D characters of Donyatsu, a manga currently serialized in Square Enix’s magazine Young Gangan, have been included in ComiPo! and are currently offered in an exclusive version.
