The movie Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A's released in theaters throughout Japan in July of 2012. Despite being a small-scale film, it became an exceptionally big hit with many enthusiastic fans and attained great popularity. In response to such passionate fans, an official complete book packed with every detail of the film was announced. On July 30, the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A's Official Complete Book will release via Kadokawa.
The A4-size, 192-page book is brimming with exclusive, precious content including character drafts drawn by the original creator and screenwriter, Masaki Tsuzuki, as well as interviews with the stellar voice cast, including Yukari Tamura (Takamachi Nanoha, ED: “Hohoemi no Purumaju”) and Nana Mizuki (Fate and Alicia Testarossa, ED: “Bright Stream”). The book truly lives up to being a complete book.
Additional cast interviews include a group interview with Ryoka Yuzuki (Shamal), Kazuya Ichijou (Zafira), Kaori Shimizu (Signum), and Asami Sanada (Vita), as well as transcribed talks with Kana Ueda (Yagami Hayate) and Sanae Kobayashi (Reinforce). Photos are also included of the voice cast for fans to enjoy. An interview with director Keizou Kusakawa also offers a behind the scenes look at the film. The treasured scenes that Tsuzuki created are also featured within the book, and fans can relive the world of the film through detailed data on the magic and devices used. Furthermore, the copyrighted illustration collection will include all the visuals featured in Newtype, Nyantype, and Comp Ace.
